How does a Custom Race Suit order work?
After checkout, take your measurements using the size guide and send the completed form through the notes field at checkout (or however you'd like to send it). Your suit is built to those exact measurements — it's not picked from a standard size run.
What's the difference between Visionary, Speed Suit, Replica, and Custom?
Visionary and Speed Suit are pre-designed suits available in standard sizes for a faster turnaround. Replica recreates a specific rider or team livery to your spec. Custom is fully bespoke — your panel layout, your colors, your leather grade, built from your own measurements.
How long does an order take to build and ship?
Most orders take 4–6 weeks to build and ship, depending on the tier and current order volume.
What do the add-ons (Airbag System, CE Level 2, Kangaroo Leather, etc.) do?
- Airbag System (Standard/Advanced/Pro) — compatible pocket/routing for an airbag vest system, sized to fit the suit.
- CE Level 2 Armor Upgrade — higher-rated impact protection in the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee inserts.
- Kangaroo Leather Upgrade — lighter, more abrasion-resistant leather in key panels.
- Custom Size Adjustment — for measurements that fall outside the standard size run.
- Liner / Winter Liner — removable interior liner for comfort or cold-weather riding.
- Perforated Leather Inserts — added ventilation for track days in warmer climates.
What's your return or exchange policy?
Absolutely no refunds, and we do not accept returns. If there's an issue with any piece you order, reach out and we'll work with you — we take pride in every order and want it to last.
Starwood Racing is not responsible for damage to a product after delivery (scratching, denting, discoloration, missing pieces, or postal delivery issues such as a damaged box) since we take care in our packaging. Do you offer financing?
Not currently built into checkout. If you're interested in payment plans on higher-tier suits, reach out before ordering.
I'm between sizes — what should I do?
Add the Custom Size Adjustment option at checkout, or size up and use the Liner add-on to dial in the fit. When in doubt, measure twice using the size guide before ordering.
